A voluntary and community group located anywhere in Ireland, may become an associate member of the Carmichael Centre. Associate members enjoy a range of supports and discounted fees across our range of services.

Telephone Support
Managers, staff and board members of associate member agencies can telephone the relevant Carmichael Centre staff and can access advice and practical assistance concerning their day to day operations. For example, questions regarding staff contracts, financial planning, board induction training and staff teambuilding are just some of the many questions covered through telephone support each week.

Training and Development Courses
Associate members enjoy substantial discounts on the cost of participating in scheduled courses in our bi-annual Training and Development Programme. Scheduled courses cover topics in charities legislation, governance and leadership, administration and planning, and human resources. These half-day and one-day courses run at various locations in Ireland during each autumn and spring.

Customised Training
Associate members can receive customised training to suit their requirements. Customised courses are typically run in the offices of associate members or at a location of their choosing. This service is available on a year round basis and is delivered throughout Ireland.

Consultancy Service
We undertake specific contracts for organisations who require additional short-term expertise. For example, we can assist with strategic planning, board development and advise on developing processes for enhancing quality management systems within the organisations.

Meeting Rooms and Catering Facilities
Organisations who need to arrange meetings in the centre of Dublin can access the range of facilities available in Carmichael House. Whether meetings are for 3 people or 50, we can accommodate the needs of organisations who are operating on a tight budget. In addition, a full catering service is available to compliment the work of organisations utilising our facilities during the daytime or evening.

Payroll and Accountancy Services
The Accounts Department provides low cost monthly payroll services, book-keeping and management accounts services to small voluntary associate member groups around the country.
