Prior to joining Carmichael Centre in 2008, Derek spent 14 years in overseas aid programme management with both APSO and Health Action Overseas, of which he was CEO for 4 years. In Carmichael Centre, Derek focuses on coordinating management and leadership training programmes as well as providing support for groups engaged in organisational capacity building and quality assurance development.
