Employment Law Essentials

The workshop will provide you with an introduction to the critical aspects of employment law for those new to the area or with an interest or role in understanding an employer’s obligations, reducing risk and managing employment law compliance effectively. We will work through a how to guide that includes employment contract types, protected leave, absence, equality and dignity at work, grievance, discipline and dismissal.  

A highly interactive format, the workshop will end with a ‘solutions room’, where we will explore the challenges typically faced and use the workshop learnings and group insights to develop solutions.

Réiltin has worked as a senior manager, HR and organisational development consultant in the community and not-for profit sector for over 20 years. Working with small, medium and larger organisations, she has extensive experience in training, HR, strategy and change management. Réiltin holds masters qualifications in Strategic HR, Lean Thinking and Education, and is a certified coach, trainer, mediator and project manager.
