Marie commenced working in the Carmichael Centre in 1999 on a 3 year FÁS Community Employment Scheme, following which she was appointed to an administration position with The Parkinson's Association of Ireland. In September 2006, Marie was appointed to the position of FÁS C.E. Supervisor, with responsibility for 15 participants all of whom are on a Community Employment Scheme.
