In addition to delivering customised training courses and training support, we provide a bi-annual Training and Development Programme. These courses address the unique needs of people working within the Community and Voluntary sector in both a volunteer and paid capacity.

Courses selected for inclusion on the programme reflect both the experience of Carmichael Centre in the sector and the guidance and feedback we receive from resident members, associates and participants’ inputs and feedback. Thus, the Training and Development Programme is constantly adapting to suit the needs of community and voluntary groups.

Individual courses concentrate on a specific topic, but are practically focused and thus use participative methods to allow participants the opportunity to learn from others working in the sector.

Training and Development Programme courses are delivered in Carmichael Centre at Coleraine House and at various locations throughout Ireland.
