Trainer: Caroline Egan is the Training and Development Manager for Carmichael Centre for Voluntary Groups and focuses on developing and delivering customised training and organisational supports for groups engaged in organisational capacity building and governance development. Caroline has twelve years third level experience lecturing and training in the areas of industrial relations, human resource management, strategy and marketing, delivering programmes in Ireland and Finland. She is also an experienced international marketing manager and has been involved with the boards and management committees of voluntary community groups for over ten years. Caroline holds a Master of Business Studies degree from NUI Galway and her research interests include the management of voluntary organisations and community entrepreneurship.
