Trainer: Derek O'Reilly is Training & Support Services Manager with the Carmichael Centre and focuses on coordinating management and leadership training programmes as well as providing support for groups engaged in organisational capacity building and quality assurance development. He is a qualified PQASSO Mentor.
Content:
PQASSO is a straightforward quality assurance system designed specifically for the community and voluntary sector. This course introduces participants to the system and explains how to implement quality within their organisations through self-assessment and involvement of key stakeholders.
Outcomes:
* Understand PQASSO and the self-assessment process
* Consider the steps necessary for successful implementation of PQASSO
* Understand the roles and responsibilities of key stakeholders
* Identify the key planning elements for implementing PQASSO
* Understand the PQASSO Quality Mark
