Anthony Carrick - Chairperson

Short biography

Anthony Carrick is a Support Officer with the Disability Federation of Ireland (DFI). Prior to that, he was the Administrator of the Post Polio Support Group, where he was instrumental in initiating a national network of support groups.
Before returning to Ireland in 2002, Anthony worked for over ten years with Oxford University Press as a Programme and Projects Director and was involved in major systems and infrastructural projects and was based, variously, in Mexico, Argentina, Spain, Turkey, Hong Kong, UK and USA. Anthony is Chair of the Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council Disability Consultation Group, the Wicklow Local Authorities Access Group and the Bray Advocacy Service and is involved with a number of other committees, groups and initiatives.
