Short biography

Evelyn qualified as a Nurse in 1997 and worked in Oncology. Evelyn has been working for CanTeen Ireland for 7 years now as the Group Coordinator. She answers to the Steering Committee which consists of 10 CanTeen Members and 4 Volunteer Leaders. Canteen have weekend's away, day support meetings and produce a biannual newsletter, as well as age appropriate information about cancer. Evelyn's role is to organise all of the activities, participate on weekends away, keep accounts and organise some fundraising activities. CanTeen also has a Winter Ball which along with some of the leaders Evelyn organises.
