Frank Walsh - Chairperson

Short biography

Born in Nenagh, Co. Tipperary and educated at the local CBS and at UCD. Frank was employed for a few years as a Secondary Teacher in Synge Street and the Domincan College in Cabra. He joined the AnCO / FAS Services to Business division in the 1970’s and remained until his retirement in 2010.

During his working career he served on the Dublin Regional Authority, Dublin Employment Pact, Dublin Enterprise Board and the Board of FAS as a staff elected member. Frank served as Chairman of the Portmarnock Community Association, of the Portmarnock Sports and Leisure Centre and of the FAS Credit Union. Frank also gave periods of service to his Golf Club in various officer positions.
