Liam O'Sullivan

Short biography

Liam O'Sullivan works as the Executive Director in Care Alliance Ireland, the National Network of Voluntary Organisations supporting Family Carers. He holds professional qualifications in Social Work, Youth and Community Work, and Social Research and has recently completed the Stronger Leaders programme for managers in the voluntary and community sector. He is the Treasurer and a Board Member of Eurocarers, the European wide umbrella organisation for Family Carer organisations. He worked in both the statutory and voluntary sectors prior to joining Care Alliance in 2004 and has lectured on a part-time basis in a number of third level institutions. Liam is from Dublin and continues to live there with his family.
